NO LONGER SILENT was a presentation folder deisgned for the Ontario Federation of Labour to promote an awareness of violence against women. The client requested the subject be presented without any depiction of violence or its effects. So, I employed the same graphic with changes on all panels of the folder. As you proceed from front cover to back the belt falls away, revealing that the womens’ mouths it bars are smiling. The back cover shows a butterfly inside the wooden frame to symbolize regeneration.
