There was some discussion in the client’s office about the significance of the photograph of a road which I used on the cover. I tried, as I always do in such cases, to discourage reading too much symbolism into the photograph. Ultimately, the client agreed to the use of the photograph, the booklet proved a success and no one commented on the photograph. This is just one example of the risks a design can encounter on its way to print.
